One of the most modern museum facility popularizing science in Europe built next to the Vistula river. Copernicus Science Centre is a multimedia and multi-purpose building , a place of experiments and scientific observations combined with fun and entertainment. It is the biggest of such a facility in Poland which comprises a museum exposition (permanent and temporary exhibitions), laboratories and workshops, and numerous associated functions, among others: multimedia planetarium, conference center, cafes, restaurants, office area and a mini-garden. Our office worked on a building and executive project of the main building and planetarium on the basis of the concept designed by RAr-2 Laboratory of Architecture. The project was realized in 2009-2011.
